Drawing parallels between garment design lines and a military mood of conflict, this collection extends fashion trends from the catwalk to cutting edge hair styling and design. Taking its cues from British luxury brand Burberry, one of the oldest fashion labels known for its innovation, 'Style Through Adversity' is a collage of inspirations, encompassing the unique trench coat of the 1920s, British military establishment and the French flair of MÉNAGE À TROIS. Projecting a feel of glamour with a touch of masculinity, Isabelle Brard Artistic Director of LAKMÉ Australia and MÉNAGE À TROIS Hair Design and the Artistic Team of MÉNAGE À TROIS; Shea McQuillan, Laurent David and Patricia Murace interpret the look for 2011 creating sharp and clean shapes using subtle colour techniques to enhance the style and the skin complexion.
